Bogor, July 20, 2022 - PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFI Finance) opened a free medical service for community in Kampung Cikeuling, Babakan Raden Village, Bogor Regency, West Java (July 20). The one-day event was held by collaborating with Sekolah Relawan, a social and humanitarian institution focusing on volunteering education and community empowerment.
The medical service encompassed general checkup to test cholesterol, blood pressure, uric acid, blood glucose, and others. Members of community could also consult with onsite doctors if they suffer from any symptom of illness, such as diarrhea or itchy skin.
Located in the eastern tip of Bogor Bogor Regency, Kampung Cikeuling is far from proper medical facility. In fact, people need to take a two-hour drive to get to RSUD Cileungsi regional public hospital. BFI Finance hopes that members of the community have more opportunities to get proper health service so that they have better understanding about their health condition, moreover during current pandemic situation. Nevertheless, prevention is better than cure.
